Surrender

This video shares an outline of this ambitious R&D project for my most ambitious piece of work yet. The immersive experience of Surrender will bring ancient bathing cultures into dialogue with contemporary sculpture and performance within a temporary art-sauna structure. Using ‘the sauna as a studio’, the installation will envelop audiences through multisensory performance elements and include dialogical invitations and ritual gestures to guide communal bathing sessions.
