Charlotte Smithson’s sculpture ‘Come what May’ examines the delicate balance in which the future of nature hangs. Inspired by and containing tangles grown in hedgerows, wisps of leggy grasses in forgotten corners of fields and wildflower meadows, the sculpture presents spring’s natural beauty to be observed and treasured. This photograph captures the exquisite fragile details of nature, we so easily overlook.
